The 40th Trade Expo Indonesia (October 2025) recorded USD 22.8 billion in transactions — far above its USD 16.5 billion target — drawing 8,045 international buyers from 131 countries and 34,550 total visitors, with 1,619 exhibitors. Top buyer markets were Malaysia, China, India, Nigeria and Egypt. As the world's largest Muslim-majority economy and a leading halal-product exporter, Indonesia's national trade expo is a major halal-sourcing platform.
